What is DyneGen doing right now?

DyneGen is producing the Engine of the Future.
Our flagship engine is a standard 460 cubic inch engine block modified to use new technology injectors, controls, and a bi-fuel delivery system to allow it to burn various alternative fuels with the first focus on Natural Gas.

We have completed the first round of dynamometer testing and can report that our 9.4L naturally aspirated, spark ignited, port fuel injected engine running on CNG had excellent dyno results that challenge any product in the naturally aspirated CNG compressed natural gas market:

PERFORMANCE TESTING
Preliminary dynamometer test results matched and/or exceeded those of a well-known competitive product - a diesel engine (brand intentionally not named) converted to run on natural gas - in production and on the market right now. DyneGen Next step: "Super-Charge It!" Test a true port fuel injected, super-charged 9.4L engine that will challenge turbo diesels with much larger displacements.

FUEL EFFICIENCY
Our engine rotating assembly is a fraction of the weight of those installed in comparably sized diesel engines. As a result, DyneGen engines are inherently more fuel efficient. Energy utilization improvements are initially expected to be on the order of 15-20% and eventually achieve as much as 40-50%.

EMISSIONS TESTING
Preliminary emissions tests (9.4L engine with catalytic converter in a rich burn application) fell well within current EPA requirements for non-certified products. Full emissions testing is scheduled for the naturally aspirated and super-charged models (with catalytic converter and lean burn applications).

ATTENTION: THIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH!
It is the ONLY Port Fuel Injected medium pressure engine
that will run off of Line Pressure Gas.

Alternative energy and fuel sources are being explored for mainstream use with greater urgency than at any other time in history. DyneGen has identified three primary alternate energy camps, all vying as the ultimate fuels of the future: Natural Gas, NH3 – Anhydrous Ammonia, and H2 - Hydrogen (the leader among ‘low BTU fuel’ [LBTUF] alternatives). It is with this perspective that DyneGen, Inc. brings together new, market-disruptive technologies and capabilities to design and manufacture the first large-displacement spark-ignited multi-fuel engines that can lower CO2 by 30% initially and 100% over time and are able to run on natural gas, NH3, or H2. The DyneGen engine family offers significant improvements in energy utilization and reliability.

This engine will demonstrate the technical feasibility of building a 9.4 liter engine, using these new technologies, designed to greatly improve engine efficiency and reduce emissions.
